Tax services

Federal and New Jersey returns, planning during the year and the international filings many preparers avoid, handled by one specialist who knows your books.

Tax services for business owners, the self-employed and people with ties to more than one country.

SolutionHub prepares federal and New Jersey tax returns for individuals and businesses, plans taxes during the year and handles the international filings many tax preparers avoid: nonresident returns, Form 5472 and ITIN applications.

Our team includes a PTIN tax preparer and an IRS-authorized Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA). We work from our office in Rochelle Park, New Jersey, and online with clients across the U.S. and in Turkey, in English and Turkish.

Tax services that fit together

Most tax problems come from things that are handled separately: books kept by one person, the business return prepared by another, and the owner’s personal return done at the last minute. Our tax services are built to work as one. The same specialist knows your books, prepares your business and personal returns, and plans the year ahead with you.

For business owners and the self-employed

If you run a business, two returns usually matter: the company’s return and your own. A multi-member LLC, an S corporation or a C corporation files its own business tax return, and its profit reaches you on a K-1. A single-member LLC reports on your personal return. We prepare both together, so the numbers match.

During the year, tax planning sets your quarterly estimated payments and helps with decisions such as whether an S corporation election makes sense. Because planning and returns depend on current numbers, many clients pair them with our monthly bookkeeping services.

For individuals with more than a W-2

Our individual tax preparation is for returns where details matter: self-employment income, income in New Jersey and New York, rental property or income from abroad. If you fell behind for a year or two, or received a letter from the IRS, our help with back taxes and IRS notices gets you current on recent years and prepares your response.

For international clients

SolutionHub’s team includes an IRS-authorized Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA), and international filings are a core part of our work:

  • People who live outside the U.S. but have U.S. income file a nonresident return, Form 1040-NR.
  • Foreign-owned single-member LLCs file Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 each year.
  • People who need a U.S. tax ID but cannot get a Social Security number apply for an ITIN.
  • U.S. citizens and green card holders who live abroad still file U.S. returns.

If you are a founder outside the U.S. with a U.S. company, see how we work with foreign-owned LLCs.

How to choose the right service

  • You own a company: start with the business return, then add planning.
  • You are self-employed or have income in more than one state: individual tax preparation, ideally with planning.
  • You live outside the U.S.: a nonresident return, Form 5472 or an expat return, depending on your status and your company.
  • You are behind or got a letter: back taxes and notices first, then a plan to stay current.

If you are not sure, the free consultation is for exactly this. We will tell you which returns you need and give you a fixed price.

Key dates

Three tax dates most of our clients work around

Mar 15

Partnership and S corporation returns

Forms 1065 and 1120-S are due by the 15th day of the third month after a calendar tax year ends.

Apr 15

Form 1040, NJ-1040 and Form 1120

Personal returns and calendar-year C corporation returns are due mid-April; a weekend or holiday moves the date to the next business day.

Oct 15

Extended deadline for personal returns

Form 4868 gives six more months to file, but tax owed is still due in April.
